Another year is coming to an end, and a strange one it has been! Even though we can’t have our traditional VEA Christmas banquet in person, we are inviting you to a virtual VEA Holiday Happy from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on December 16!

We have all kinds of goodies planned for you:

A small Christmas Concert:

Barbara Lewis will get us in the Christmas spirit with some Christmas songs and even a sing-along.

Barbara Lewis performs powerful folk and pop songs that are both entertain ing and highly emotional. With her wide-range, classically-trained voice, vulnerable stage presence and elegant storytelling ability, she is known as “a hugely gifted singer, a born communicator.” Barbara is also a vocal coach who specializes in working with singers over 40 – both beginners and professionals. Her YouTube channel is called, Singing After 40.

Nancy’s Challenge:

Remember in May, I threw a challenge to all tinkerers? Well here is your chance to showcase what you created. If you haven’t created anything yet, you have 2 weeks to do so.

Basically, create a vehicle out of paper, wood, glass, food, … your imagination is the limit. Here is what I had posted as an example in May. This is your chance to show off your “tinkering” skills.

And of course, what would a VEA holiday celebration be without Door Prizes!!!!

So I hope this all convinces you to come celebrate with us at 5:00pm on December 16th via Zoom. Be sure to dress in red/green or to have a festive background such as your Christmas tree or other Christmas decorations.
